Denmark Street has quantity, but not that much variety tbh. Music Ground is worth going into, just to laugh at their prices. By far the best shop there is Wunjo's - really friendly staff & they often have some interesting used gear. Macari's on Charing Cross Road can be worth a look too (end of Denmark St, turn left & walk down about 150-200 yds).

Definitely take a trip up to Camden Town (a few stops up the Northern Line from Tottenham Court Road), & drop into The Bass Gallery. GAS-tastic shop! Make sure you've got their 'phone number as they have to buzz you in & don't always hear the bell. Nice folks too.

If you're in town for more than a few days, get yourself an Oyster Card - serious savings on Public Transport, & much quicker than cash (buses in the centre of town no longer take cash, they're all pre-pay). If it's just a day or two, arm yourself with a One Day Travelcard - valid on all buses, tubes & overground trains.

Pete.
