Strap/blues question?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I was watching this Stevie Ray Vaughan little wing video and saw this guy 4:52 in. He’s the guy with the white strap with the notes on it. He’s playing right handed but he’s got his strap over his right shoulder. upon trying this strap position for my self I realized for me at least that it’s a much more comfortable way to play. It positions the neck closer to me and gets rid of the neck dive that I have always had to deal with on my p bass. It’s one of those things that I just wanna say, why didn’t I think of that a long time ago.
So my question is does anyone know who the guy in the video is and/or know of anyone else that plays/played like this? link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdYRzH10L2M
