for starters my strap is sh*t it keeps coming off and i need to catch my bass to stop it being destroyed and i made a fool out of myself in front of friends because it came off and fell b4 i even played anything. all the straps i see have the same quality at the end and i like the fact that my strap is adjustable so can you enlighten me about better quality straps? |

The suede keeps it from sliding on your shoulder. The width keeps the bass from getting heavy if you play for a long time. And the straplocks keep the strap from coming loose from the bass.
And the one up there ^^^^^ in that post is the kind I use.

I have 2 straps from them they are big leather straps and are inexpensive. I haven't had any problems with mine although I'm by no means a heavy giggger. They were also really good people to deal with.

Once I feel that reassuring 'click' I simply tug on BOTH ends of the strap to make double sure, then I forget all about it until its time to 'wrap' and break down the gear. I wish these things were around when I started playing in the '70's.. they really are "genius". A truely wonderful invention! |

I had whichever kind that is on my P-Bass before I got my Warwick, and I really like them. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could now use both straps for either instrument.
Either way, strap locks are the way to go. Best $12 you can spend on an instrument. |

I also have a comfort Strapp that has a double lock type attachment that goes over the screw. It works really good but I never take it off.

The ones that come with Warwicks are like Dunlops, but Dunlops won't work with the Warwick locks.
