strap suggestions for ergonomic positioning

So I've been working on my technique in regards to many of Gary Willis' suggestions, and have decided his approach is really up my alley. For those who may not know, Gary Willis uses an approach to playing with a focus on efficiency and ergonomics. I know the whole 'straight wrists' issue has been discussed regularly, so I'm looking for some suggestions on a strap or mechanism that might help keep my bass in more of a 'classical guitar' position - neck high, body low. I know this is one of the appeals of Steinberger basses, with their rotating strap mechanism. I've looked into their Boomerang straps and wondered if anyone had had experience with them, and how hard/easy they are to retrofit onto a bass guitar. Also was looking at the Whittman Spin Strap - anyone used one of these who'd like to share their experience? Has anyone found workarounds for good positioning in other creative ways?

edit: looking at this post, I suppose what I'm really looking for is 'body dive'

Great. I knew being moved to the Miscellaneous forum would be a thread killer...

Wouldn't a repositioning your neck strap button help that? I've seen people hook it to the bottom horn of their bass. You'd probably need a pretty long strap for that though. I've also seen (and it's standard on MTD's) to have to bottom strap button moved up about 6 inches or so.

I think what you're looking for is similar to Bunny Brunel's approach. Check this video out.
