Strings gauge question and another question

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm 50/50 guitarist and bassist and I have two somewhat related questions:

1. I'm getting second guitar soon, so I want to convert my first one to lower tuning: alternating between B standard and Drop-A (BEADF#B/AEADF#B).
I have opportunity to order any gauge string set (individual strings), so I'd like to know what gauges should I order. Probably something around 13-70?
Now it's strung with 10-46 in standard tuning and I'd like to have the same tension (or maybe just a little more).

2. I love Talkbass forums, so can anyone recommend me similar guitar forums (big, friendly, good community), so i can educate myself more on a guitar instead of asking guitar questions here in Miscellaneous section
Reading Talkbass gave me so much knowledge on different bass subjects, so now I can see how much guitar-related knowledge I lack.
