| Well, it doesn' have to be *quite* as strong as an MRI... Any unshielded magnet structure in proximity to a CRT or plasma monitor can effect the color balance of that display. The reason it's not such a big issue these days is A) most computer displays are LCDs, which are much less susceptible to magnetic distortion than plasma or CRT; and B) many studio monitors are shielded. |
