Studio tones.

My band and I are hitting the studio and I'll be laying down the low end in a week or so...I'm trying to decide if I should have multiple tonesbecause I have access to so many amps and effects. I will be playing a friends music man stingray the studios fender P and maybe a J and then my schecter studio. I'll be running into a bass pod xt pro, ampeg SVT 3 pro and the studio has a sans amp(I have only heard of this? Is it worth using?) I play melotic hardcore metal so I want full fat tone mixed with some more aggressive bright lines. I do have a few solos and I have no idea what I should do with that tone so I guess I was thinking of having 3 tones...fuzz would be a good filling effect. I'm sorry if this is an over asked question or is more fitting elsewhere. Talk to you soon

Try it out and see how it sounds. It's not uncommon for people to use different tones. Especially guitarists.
