My band leader invited me to join him in mixing down some tracks from our last recording session. My studio experience has been sporadic, so tonight was a good learning experience. This was a much nicer studio than I normally spend time in.

Is that a Logic? Awesome looking board! I'm in school learning how to be a sound technician and we spent some time at a studio with a Logic 4000 E series console.

I regret to say that I didn't even ask about the equipment... I just basked in the vibe of the place and paid close attention to what was being discussed. We were working with Dick Hodgin at Osceola Studios in Raleigh. It was a great experience and our recordings have exceeded my expectations.
