Hey whats up guys,
So my band has a PA system already, which includes 2 JBL self powered PA speakers. They are 2x15, and I believe they're 1,200 watts each. We also have a countless numbers of limiters, compressors, eq's, etc. This all runs into a 32 channel Midas Venice board.
We are looking for some subs. We don't have anyone who is really into sound in our band, as our system was basically donated to us by an extremely generous donor. It sounds amazing, but we could use the thump that subwoofers provide.
Can you guys give me a subwoofer 101? What brands should we be looking at, what specs, and etc. Do we need one or two? Our budget is $800 is to add subs to our live rig.
