I dont know how others are, but when I write music I like to have people to bounce ideas off of. The limited people that I have contact with are valuable, but I'd like more.

I'd like to set up some sort of group where we can share ideas and/or songs with each other. Not to trade songs, but to give each other advice on what may work where, etc. For example, if I have a small part of a guitar solo that sounds a little off, but it sounds good to me, I'd like to hear other musicians opinions on it.

I know that something that sounds good to me wont always sound good to everybody, but they may be able to offer some insight. Especially people who are good with music theory. But only for people who wouldnt rip off somebody elses work.

I'm a bassist, but I write the vocal melody, guitar, and guitar solos in my songs.

I write all of my songs in the Guitar Pro program. But we could share GPro files or MP3s via email or instant messenger.

Anybody else interested in this, or am I just an oddball?
