Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this but off topic didn't seem right either. Anyways my highschool has a program for seniors known as Independent Student Mentorship where we pick a mentor and study under them for the year to get an idea of what our possible future career will be like. I wanted to do mine on music, but I don't really have any connections.
The band and orchestra directors are my only options so far, but my main question for you guys is: Does this seem like a good idea or should I mentor under someone with a more "stable" career instead? Any tips or stories are appreciated too, once again I'm sorry mods if this is the wrong place and thanks in advance for any advice guys. |
