Alright.... I've seen more bitching'n'whining than my ex-wife could do.... (And, folks, that's a LOT!!!) About what, you say??? People bitchin'..... About people... Puttin' up "re-run" posts.

In a bitching/whining voice/typing-style that reminds me of my ex-****. Yes,I said ****!!!:

"Why don't you utilize the search function?!?!?!?!" In a "crying/whining for there mommy" tone(?),of typing-style/skillz.....

You know, bitchin' about someone puttin' up a post that was put up 6-18 mos ago!! Friends, take into consideration: There's been MANY,MANY new members that wasn't on here 6-18 mos ago. Which,is a GREAT thing!! Besides!!! Opinions (for the most part),have changed drastically (in 12-18 mos). Just like the bass/amp/FX,"flavor of the month".

I just know(!!!) that there's people out there, that are just ABSOLUTE VULTURES(!!),just waitin',like John Wayne Gacy,to swoop down on someone....Why???? Maybe it makes'em feel like somebody!! Hell if I know!! Getta life!!

I tell ya' what. If you are gonna bitch'n'whine, make some valid/sensible suggestions,as to what to do about the problem.

Any takers???

Not to be a wise-ass,but damn,what's a person/member to do???

Suggestions???

*Sorry for the rant!! But,DAMN!!! Just'a 'bout every subject has already been covered... Except for posts about new products comin' on th' market.

I think there should be a new rule to be enforced by mods.

'No whining about posts just because you know the answer and/or you have seen a similar post before.'

You are a bit harsh (justifiably) but I totally agree.

Only time I really complain to new posters about 'searching' is when a thread pops up asking a question that was asked earlier that hour, or day, or multiple times a week.

Which seems to happen hourly, daily, or multiple times a week.

People 'should' go for the search function first, but it usually takes an online forum savvy person to go that route. So, you can either nudge them toward the search, or not and they'll continue to post new threads for their next 4 questions that also have been asked 3 times that week.

IMHO

"Talk Bass" has being going for quite a while now, and by now I'm sure it has covered every bass topic under the sun. If we were to go by what you say, then TB would have shut down long ago. If a topic is covered for a second time, there is always the possibility of fresh information. Yes, I agree, people should do a search first. I only wish I had your life style, with so little to whine about.
