Super Find!! ...I think.

So, I went down into my mothers basement and in a pile of stuff I found a dusty SUPER old acoustic guitar.
This thing has literally got to be almost 100 years old. There's no markings on it, and it's in really rough shape.
I'll be taking pics of it later, but does anyone have any suggestions as to what to look for when determining what this thing is and who made it?

Shine a flashlight through the soundhole and look for labels inside!
