Any fans of this band? As I sit here listening to Breakfast in America I must say they are quite good. Interesting music, nice and different. Not quite progressive, but more out there than classic rock. Great bassist too!
Any other fans? |

Kind of in that Moody Blues meet Geddy Lee's voice kind of thing. |

I went to their farewell tour in '83 and I couldn't believe how many hits these guys had! They played over two hours and I knew, or had heard, nearly every song!
Good players, good songwriters - just not my cup of tea.

Never liked either one much.

| | | | I'm a fan of Supertramp. 'Crime Of The Century' is one of my favourite albums of all-time. I suggest you check that out if you haven't yet. 'Breakfast In America' and 'Even In The Quietest Moments...' are also great albums. Good grooving bass playing as well.

I did a post on Dougie in bassists forum but their does not seem to be much info on this guy. I would love to know what equipment he used for the making of Crime of the Century. Good Band |
