surgery

Hi,
I had by-pass surgery on the ninth of this month (things turned our extremely well). Before leaving the hospital today, I had a thousand questions for the surgeon. I did not think to ask him about playing the bass. It dawned on me that someone here may have had this experience, so I thought I would draw upon your real-life experience.

My concern is not gigging (I am a bedroom bass player; but a good one) since as of now I am not playing with anyone. The questions are more alone the lines of whether or not playing scales and the like would interfere with the healing process. Both bass guitars I currently have at home are within the 10 lb lifting limit (for the first six weeks post surgery). Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.

Grace and Peace
Maurice

Just want to say, I hope your healing process goes well.
