Sustain chords without a keyboard for practising purposes

Sign in to disble this ad
I donīt have the money to buy a keyboard, so I am looking for a software that can sustain chords for me to play on top and train my ear.
Iīve tried Band in a Box but you canīt hold the chords and it play the chords over different styles.
Do you know a good software for me?
Thanks

A cheap keyboard such as a Casio or even a Yamaha with sustain pedal will cost less than some software. Check CL.....

There are a lot of free MIDI packages out there, too. I use TuxGuitar (a free TAB program) at work during my lunch to mess around with works in progress, arrangements or just to develop melodies over a chord progression.

ChordPulse is small and easy to use. Pick your chord(s), style, and check the "loop" option.

Here's the (limited) freeware version: http://www.chordpulse.com/lite.html

+1. Still haven't gotten a chance to purchase one, but that's one of their intended uses.
