SX vs. Jay Turser guitars.

I had a Jay Turser bass and it was great for modding and I know people feel the same way about SX basses. But I'm looking into a cheap tele style guit-box. The nicest ones for the under $200 are Tursers and SX's. Does anyone have any experience with these guitars?

I havent played an SX or Jay turser guitar, but since everyone on here loves the SX basses, im guessing the guitars would be of the same calibur.
