| Try a wider leather strap.
The way the body is constructed, with the neck meeting the body where it does, with the size of the big ol' headstock and the placement of the strap buttons... it just predisposes the bass for neck-heaviness.
With my T-Bird I use a leather strap that's around 3" wide, it controls it a little bit. Unfortunately, it's the nature of the beast.
