I've always assumed that that is what GTG stood for. I, however, have nothing important to add.

Edit: The "H" in JMHO and IMHO also regularly stands for humble.

Often you might see GL which may refer to one of two things. One is GL, a brand of mass guitars such as Fender is a brand. Another GL is Geddy Lee a very popular Fender Jazz bass.

LP stands for Les Paul (often used to refer to body style) also seen as LPB or les Paul Bass

***? =
(At TB all profanities must be masked so no one can tell that you are using profanities.)

This abbreviation is useful if the police take your $600,000...

*********************************************
Mod Note:

Acronyms that are commonly understood to stand for (or perceived as, based on usage & or context) a profanity will be dealt with (by this mod) in the same manner as are profanities.

I actually don't think there really is a definition for TB Carrots.
Is there?

I gotta admit. Im not really a Newbie here (spend several hours a day) but I too wonder about this. Is it like a "I dont really care" option? Not in the way of "I dont care". But more like a I cant really make a definative answer to this question so I choose...carrots.

I always thought it stood for Direct Input. I just today figured out how clever Tech 21 was when they called it Sans Amp...Sans amp, as in u dont need an amp because u can do all the EQ'ing right there.

EQ!!! EQ=Equalizing, or adjusting the Highs, Mids, Lows to shape the sound of your bass.
