Are there any sites out there like TB, but for drums? My band and I are looking for a drummer, and have advertised on Craigslist, Backpage, MySpace and MusiciansOnly (ie the usual suspects), but I don't want to miss a smaller niche site if one exists. Anyone know something I don't ?
Thanks in advance!!

| | | unfortunately, almost all the drum forums seem to be heavily populated by the younger crowd (not necessarily a bad thing in itself) or jerks. the threads are all the same thing over and over again. you will read anything of value in about a week and need not return. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/...?s=&forumid=19 is o.k. but certainly not like here. you are not gonna find that. |

| | | The Pearl drum forum ( www.pearldrum.com, and search for the link to the forum) is great for info (about everything, not just their drums, though they are heavily favoured)...just stay out of Chit-Chat...that's when the fangs come out. |

But yeah, TalkBass is definately unique in the realm of internet music forums. I doubt this...vibe, I suppose, could be recreated anywhere else. |
