So I was working on a basic line for part of a song my friend wrote (the progression is Dm Am F G). I decided to record the progression, and then practice over it until I had something I liked. I ended up recording the previous section of song for transition purposes. I then got all caught up in it and fooling around with my Octron wrote multiple parts... recorded the bass, rhythm, lead... lol

I had so much fun doing it after having a dull day (it is fricking miserable here) that I thought I would share.

All parts recorded with bass (sans drum machine) w/ garage band.

Isn't technology a grand tool for exploration?

Sounds nice, that and your samples in the FX section make me want an Octron.

By the way, it was doing stuff like that, that led me to buying a looper. I agree, it's way too much fun.

One thing I will say to warn you is that the guitar sound in this little ditty is a product of garage band amp modeling as much as the Octron (the samples in the effects review were clean or as noted)
