TASCAM Bass Trainer Problem

Sign in to disble this ad
When I try to transfer songs into my MPBT1 I get this error

Error 0x8007045D. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

Any idea what is going on?

Are you doing the drop and drag from the "my music" file to the music file for the Bass Trainer?

copy and paste. I've had this for about a year and a half and it worked fine until recently.

Are you transfering them as a MP3 file?
I had problems at first with mine when transfering non MP3.
As a last resort there is a reset butten underneath a sticker on the back,I have had to reset mine after it had locked up a few times.

Just a shot in the dark ... but that error message seems to be an error within Windows Vista. If you are using Vista, it's probably that and not the MPBT1.

From what I can gather, it may happen if the song files are copy protected somehow?

This is what I found ... http://thewinforums.com/topic/7502-r...-backup-files/

It might be a Vista problem but not a protection problem. I just tried to copy a file that was on there before I formatted it and got the same error

well it appears the solution is to let the batter die. Why the reset or format didn't work and this did is beyound me.
