Can anyone shed some light on this subject? I thought it might be a good practice tool. Learn some really hard bass licks.

i dont have one but this is what i have heard of it.
get the a/c adapter this eats batteries.
the special effects are just ok.
look under gear review in this forum. i do believe the tascam is listed.

I have the MKI and love it. It's an amazing practice tool and if mine broke, I'd go out and buy another one right away.

I agree. I have one, and the abilitly to slow down sections, and endlessly loop them while you figure them out is awesome. Great tool!
