Just got a Tascam cd bass trainer and I was wondering how to connect it to my combo (Ampeg BA-115) so that I can use the traner without having to use headphones.

Can I use a 1/8" stereo male to 1/4" female adapter (see link below) together with a 1/4" instrument cable to go from the 1/8" line out jack on the trainer straight into the instrument input on my combo?

I am a newbie when it comes to sound equipment and just want to make sure this will work before buying anything. Or maybe there's an easier way of doing this. Thanks!
