I just felt like I should post some love for the
TB Wanted section...
Just in case you don't know, Talkbass has a classified section and within them is a section for posting items you want or need. In my own personal experience, that section frequently makes dreams come true! I've asked for and found many items that I've wanted/needed and that sort of resource is just fantastic.
My current favorite bass, an early Stingray 5, was acquired by asking for one. And it was a good price, too...
My current project bass was a need for a J bass without a bridge and pickups (already had) and it took 1 day for the perfect candidate to show up...
And when I decided I wanted different pickups for it, I asked for some, and in no time, someone offered them up.
So I just wanted to share with people one of the many wonderful aspects that Talkbass possesses. It's filled with good people who are here to help at the drop of a hat (or cash
).
And if you don't already, you should definitely consider being a supporting member because it's great to have the privileges that affords, as well as the fact that it helps keep this place going.
