TB Classifieds Want Ad Section: Making dreams come true

I just felt like I should post some love for the TB Wanted section...

Just in case you don't know, Talkbass has a classified section and within them is a section for posting items you want or need. In my own personal experience, that section frequently makes dreams come true! I've asked for and found many items that I've wanted/needed and that sort of resource is just fantastic.

My current favorite bass, an early Stingray 5, was acquired by asking for one. And it was a good price, too...

My current project bass was a need for a J bass without a bridge and pickups (already had) and it took 1 day for the perfect candidate to show up...

And when I decided I wanted different pickups for it, I asked for some, and in no time, someone offered them up.

So I just wanted to share with people one of the many wonderful aspects that Talkbass possesses. It's filled with good people who are here to help at the drop of a hat (or cash ).
And if you don't already, you should definitely consider being a supporting member because it's great to have the privileges that affords, as well as the fact that it helps keep this place going.

I think the TB classifieds are great... better than eBay..You get some great deals.. build trust among your peers.. (with each feedback notidfication sent or recieved) and you can pass unused gear along to others who may use it. All of my current gear with the exception of my SSS5 and my B212, which were bought at pawn shops and myu 77J & SR505 which were bought new.. all the resty of my gear came from the TB classifieds.. I feel safer buyikng from TB than CL or eBay..

Update: ANY brand custom single cut 5 strings basses for sale?

Hi all,
Since there are so many good, small bass builders out there in the world, I think I wish to see what can be had used that is not so dear in price like a Fodera. To all who may have a single cut 5ver (or know where one might be) they wish to part with that's in really good shape, please hit me up and show me some pics.
This would be much appreciated! Thanks for your time and help, folks!

Cheers!
