Hi,

I'm new to TB and not a native english speaker. I find it hard to understand every acronyms (and no easier to "search" for it). So here is a list that I will update for new-comers (and me).

BD : Badass bridge
BG: Bass Guitar
CIJ : Crafted In Japan
DAC : Digital to Analog conversion
DB: Double Bass
DI : Direct Input
EBMMSR(5): Ernie Ball MusicMan Stingray (5 if referring to a 5 string)
ERB: Extended-Range Bass (More than 4 strings)
FS: For Sale
FT: For Trade
FW : Flatwound
FX : Effects
GAS : Gear Acquisition Syndrom
GC: Guitar Center
HSC : Hard Shell Case
MIA : Made In America
MIJ : Made in Japan, see CIJ
MIM : Made In Mexico
ND: Neck-Dive
PUP(S): Pick-ups
RW : Roundwound
SS : Solid-State (amp)
TB : TalkBass, you're on it
URB: Upright Bass

If others member could post somemore, it would be great !
