Which manufacturer/model of 10's is your combo?

Sorry to hear about your wrist problems.

Nice looking collection of guituars!

I have a rather good past on guitars, too.
I currently own two Paul Reed Smith, but they have been played rarely in the past 5 years. Bass is my nirvana, but I recorded as a guitar player many songs, even as a lead guitar in my 30 yo days...it is not so bad to be multi-instrumentalists
this is my top notch PRS, now for sale...http://www.mercatinomusicale.com/mm/...id2476236.html

Dream 90s? How do you like them?

I have Wilburn Custom Shop "P90 Buckers" on a couple guitars (a pair on an Ibanez semi-hollow and one at the neck on my Tele). They were designed by Kent Armstrong and I love 'em, but Scott (Wilburn) says that a production run costs too much so he was only able to have them built once. Consequently, I'd like to find a suitable substitute.

I've considered both Mean 90s and Dream 90s, but I suspect that I might find that Mean 90s (which, iirc, are supposed to be very close to Gibson P90s) too dark. The P90 Buckers have a bit of bite to them that I really like (along with the P90 meat). I'm hoping that Dream 90s are like that too.

yeah they are the dream 90's from gfs. They sound really great! I have them going through 500k pots. The bridge is nice and twangy with just a bit of clean boost, the neck is really warm but no loss of mid or high frequencies, and the middle position is amazing! twang and warmth, i would recommend these for sure.

Thanks, they sound perfect!

On the subject of GFS pickups, I'm toying with the idea of buying a set of Surf 90s and installing them in my '67 Gibson ES-335 12 string. I've owned that guitar since 1977 and it has always been strung as a 6 string...I'm curious how it would sound as a twangy 12 string.

Hey guys, I'm looking to trade a MIA P-Bass for a guitar of some sort. Thought I would get your attention here as it is the focus of all the players here who own guitars. check out my thread here:

FT: Fender MIA P-Bass - Black/rosewood, very clean, all stock

I haven't been playing guitar much. However I do like to whip it out (LoL) from time to time. I have a Gibson SG Standard & a Carvin DC-727, which I play through my Acoustic B20 bass amp because I don't have room in my room for my guitar amp which is a Crate Flexwave of some sort. Maybe I'll post pictures later...I think at this point, I have decided to focus more on bass...for now

Edit: I use a Boss MT-2.

love the pair Mike! I've been GASing for an acoustic lately... almost bought a non-electric Seagull a few years back, but I might go even cheaper. I'm real close to ordering on of these Solid Cedar Top Bubinga back and sides

I've never played an acoustic with that wood combo. I once played an Ovation anniversary model that had a bubinga top. Looked pretty sounded awful. I haven't seen a bubinga topped acoustic since.

it's a solid cedar top... bubinga sides and back. I've never heard an Ovation acoustic that sounded good unplugged.

I prefer darker/warmer acoustics so for $200 I'm willing to give it a go
