Nice! Somehow, I don't think they'll ever have a segment on me, not after the letter I wrote them and they published a few years back...

that said, the mag *has* gotten better...maybe they listenned. v:O)~

So, what is the article, is this a monthly "Meet your fellow Talkbasser" featurette? Seems we're being represented nicely of late...

Congrats Brad!

He is a Brad Cook of "Extraordinary Magnitude."

Is that wearing thin yet Brad? I hope not!

Ok, so Brad sends e-mails regularly to Jim Rome and gets himself into BP magazine. How much do you want to bet he's the guy on the six o'clock news (or is it the 9 o'clock news in Texas?) standing behind the field reporter staring into the camera. Not waving, not smiling, but occasionally moving from one side to the other while staying in view of the camera...

I don't see the other thread, so

CONGRATS Brad! You deserve it. I've always really enjoyed your posts.

Scary thing was I knew that was you before I even got to the talkbass part.
I guess I used to spend too much time here!

Yeah...I wasn't real happy that I couldn't get any other pics. I just never really had any good gig pics and my camera kinda stopped working before I could take any better pics.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I've only had a Bass Player subscription for a few months but have already seen "Dig Me" and "Joe Nerve" in there. I just assumed that all bassists in america were members here at TB!

TB's "Funkster" was in the working stiffs portion a year or so ago, also.

Lookout BP mag, TB is taking over.

I was in BP once! Well, it was just a nice complimentary letter for the big Tony Levin cover story they did several years back...

Oh yeah, and congrats to DigMe and Joe Nerve... TB's takin' over that mag! I saw the Joe Nerve one, now I'll have to keep an eye out for this issue at the newsstand.

I finally got my copy of BP. I wish I'd had an action picture handy or something... :nono:

Anyway...it's cool to be in there though. It's also funny that the other guy and I both had lightbulb moments that involved "locking in with the drummer."
