I will probably get flamed for this cause I have heard some guys dont like Jack Black here

Basically I dont care... I got tickets to see Tenacious D in Glasgow

I dont see them as musical geniuses and sure he has probably said some bad S*** about Bass. The thing is I can be in the worst mood ever and throw on that album. Not only do I sing my wee Scottish ass off but I crack up almost every time!

So Jack Black doesnt rate Bass. Its not his fault, He is just mis-guided.

Poor fool

The club I work in is trying to get them to do an aftershow/acoustic set after that gig. I'll let you know if we do...

I love the D. Saw them live in New York about 3-4 years ago- one of the best shows I've been to. It's not often you get to see Spider-man having his way with Sasquatch. I remember buying my wife several concert bootlegs back in 01 along with all the HBO stuff because they didn't have an actual album yet- great road trip music.

They kick ass. They're the only band that manages to successfully blend humor and music without it sucking (I'm looking at you, Wierd Al). A lot of their stuff is actually aweomse, musically speaking, too. And KG is an awesome guitarist.

Oh god, I'm exited. I hadn't heard anything about The D for a while (other then they were making the movie), then all of a sudden they came back.
First, I was watching their "Master Works" DVD. Later that night, I saw their new video (promoting the movie), then I heard some fantastic news.
THEY'RE PLAYING AT MSG IN DECEMBER!!
Who's going!?

Fiiiixed it.

I don't know why, but bassists have egos that are bruised easily. Jack Black tries to relate the bass to a cello in a family comedy, and everyone here acts like he's the devil. And the girl didn't play a bass solo because she could barely play bass at all. Jeeeeeez. And Frankly, the bass off on SNL was the funniest thing they've done in years.

Lighten up, the guy is funny as hell.

Also, my favorite track on Probot (Dave Grohl's amazing metal side project) was the Jack Black one!! I AM THE WARLOCK!!

The HBO series was one of the funniest shows ever made!!

Isn't the movie coming out soon?
