Exclamation Tendonitis? Help!

Sign in to disble this ad
I've dealt with muscle overuse in my forearms for several years now and seem to have kept control of the situation. Sure, they'll cramp up get tight and tired but they have seemed to stay the same.

Now that i've been moving to upright and gigging a lot more, it seems like they're progressive getting tired faster. I've also got a new pain in the fleshy chunk of meat under my thumb. It seems to go away when i massage it for awhile.

Is this just more muscle cramping? Any advice on how to tell the difference between a serious stress injury, and normal wear and tear? Also i've been stretching more and taking MSM. Any stretches, excercies, or other advice? Any help would be great!

GO WITH A DOCTOR.

This stuff can get as problematic as a cronic degenerative issue. Take care of yourself, and check your technique, there's something you're not doing right.

Period. Don't hesitate.

Yup, doctor. You can't replace your hands. Might take your bass to show your technique as well.
