Is there any reason why theory is consigned exclusively to the double bass part of these forums? I am pretty sure that theory is generally important to us all and that we could all benefit from sharing our thoughts and knowledge on theory.

Tab is for those without the capacity for theory. the circle of fifths and the modes as they apply to music should be mandatory for any player.
