| No one agrees on genres. One man's blackened death metal is another man's dead black metal. My advice is just to label each song with whatever you think fits best. You can't do it on a per-artist basis anyway can you? Not every song by a particular artist will fall in the same genre.
Or you could just do what I do, and give up on labeling genres. If I've got title, album, artist, year, and maybe composer filled in, I figure I'm doing good.
