Saw this on the minneapolis CL today- it's pretty funny. theres already some posts on CL bashing these guys...just a great example of douchecraft. i especially like how they are "baffled" that people react negatively to their ads.

We're looking for male/female singer/lyricist who can create over the musical structures we come up with.
We've already recorded some 8 or 9 tunes. You can listen to a few of them at [+++++] where you will also find out what you need to do to audtion for us.
The page is not accepting friend requests because we're only using it to find a singer. When we do it will come down and a new page will go up with the name of the band. To anyone who complained about our last ad for reasons that still baffle us, WE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK - WE KNOW WHAT WE WANT
This is not metal. Metal heads need not apply. Vis a vis if you like Ozzy, Mettalica, Sabbath, Papa Roach, Slayer or 95% of the crap on 93X.., we're not looking for you.
No growlers (a la Cannibal Corpse) No screechers (a la 80's metal).
No haters. You have a prob w/black, white, red, yellow, gay, leZ then stay the [++++] away. We love all the peeps.
No sellouts (B Spears, H Duff "I just wanna be a star" types)
No hobbyists. We need people who can drop things to go on tour and keep commitments.
No chemical heads as in if u into meth/speed coke or any synthetic stuff, stay the [++++] away. NO EXCEPTIONS
We're looking for something beautiful. So if you're someone who's always writing lyrics or poetry and you can sing, we're looking for you. We don't care what your musical background is or if you know/don't know music theory, or if you're originally an R&B singer, punk singer, jazz singer, gospel singer whatever and you like the material, we'd love to meet you.
This project is inspired by sounds like Qotsa, Eagles of Death Metal, My Bloody Valentine, The Pixies, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Hendrix, Verbena, Swervedriver, Weezer, Tool.. so loud melodic rock is how we'd describe what we're going for.
Please respond only if you have music up on a page that we can listen to NO EXCEPTIONS. WE'VE HAD EVERY FREAK, DRUGGIE, [+++]HOLE, HACKER NO HEART LOSER COME IN WHEN WE AUDITIONED BLIND AND THEN THEY BECOME RUDE OR VIOLENT WHEN WE SAY "THANKS BUT NO THANKS" SO WE WON'T BEGIN TO CONSIDER YOU UNLESS YOU HAVE A PAGE WITH TUNES UP PERIOD.
