Hi.

Yep they are.

Had the SG for a while. Superb bang for the buck ratio over the Gibson ones.

The top of the line Tokai guitars are my choice #1 when it comes down to LP style, I always end of selling the Gibbys and keeping the Tokais. I've had several of each and just can't justify the price of Gibsons. (Don't mind making a profit though )

Just my 0.02€

I have to be honest. I bought a brand new Les Paul Standard about 6 years ago. When they brought out the case, I thought "Is this some kind of joke?" "Are you guys serious?" "The inside is PINK".

I made them get me another case - I had no idea an original Gibson case was pink. Pink's not my most favoritist color - sorry.

I would love to have a tele that colour with the pickguard painted as well like with the antigua ones. Actually, If I could fine a P-bass done that way, I would probably buy it. Maybe I should have it built...but I expect the paintjob would be expensive. Plus, I already have another P project I want to get built.

They had been doing the "shroud" Gibson USA cases in pink for 20 years. I heard they switched to a charcoal color.

The old ones were originally pink. Then green, then purple, then yellow, then red... umm... I think that takes us up to the early 80s. Then that would be the blue and red Protector II cases, and then the pink shroud cases.

I love the Custom Shop cases with the purple crush velvet.

My 59 LP Special in the purple Custom Shop case...

Yes, I'm a case dork.
