Well, all of broadway is pretty awesome just to walk around on, lots of cool shops, no lack of cowboy hats or boots, that's for sure...
plenty of good grub around, that's for sure. grab some BBQ, head into Gruhn's guitars for a spell (they had a real beat but plays-like-butter 60's J in there a couple months ago)
And check out all the eye candy walking around...

PLENTY of that. There is a Guitar Center just outside of Brentwood that has prolly the best bass selection I've ever seen at a GC... Valley Arts guitar is at 12th and Porter (can you take a tour??)
Also, you should check out music row (ask a cabbie) and check out all the record labels and businesses, the majority set in a rural setting, all in houses, you'd never know how much "power" is "housed" on that stretch of unassuming tarmac. Lots of cool shops in that area too.
