Well, I'll start, this past Labor Day weekend, I stayed with an old friend/musical partner in crime in VERY rural upstate NY (just about 60 miles SW of Albany). He's a pianist/singer with one CD out already and he's working on #2 now, wanting me to lay down some low-end. It was a great time to catch up and explore some new ideas.
I couldn't help but be recharged by the starry sky at night, the sounds of coyotes and owls and the amazing beauty of the woodlands and hills. I came home inspired myself witha few new ideas for my own undertaking.
So, what kinds of environments, circumstances and such get your creative juices going?
