Three of a Perfect Pair Music camp w/Tony Levin

Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the best place on the forum to post this, but I'm passing along an announcement from Tony Levin about an event he's doing in August in New York.

Sounds like a great time:

------------------------------------
Three Of A Perfect Pair Camp coming in August

If you have ever dreamed of learning from and hanging out with master musicians Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, and Pat Mastelotto here is your chance.

Adrian, Tony, and Pat will host a music camp at the Full Moon Resort,
a beautiful 70-acre facility tucked away in the Catskills from August 22 through 26th.

These three King Crimson members have played with just about everyone. Imagine the experiences and knowledge they can pass on to you.

There will be personalized classes, performances, campfire chats, and much more. The camp is open to all: musicians and non-musicians. To find out more and register now go to:

Thanks, Greg! This sounds like a blast. I think I might just go for it - since it's in my neck o' the woods - and Tony is one of my favorite players.

BTW, I caught your little impromptu outdoor set at NEAR fest in Trenton, NJ a few years back. I was mesmerized.

Damn, that sounds awesome!
Tony Levin, like Robert Fripp, is some kind of Hero, I think. If anyone here on TB gets an opportunity to go, please do, and make a thread about it!

Try it, though. You might like it. It's fun.

Hi MM,

Thanks for remember that performance. NEARfest is an amazing event.

I've got quite a few solo concert videos on my youtube channel:

my favorites are Mingus' "Goodbye Porkpie Hat:

this Free Improvisation: "Big Bang 4965:

and "Tomorrow Never Knows":

I think (but I'm not certain) that Tony will have some "hands-on" experiences for people who want to check out The Stick at his camp.

Happy Viewing, Greg
