I know a lot of you guys play those little skinny stringers, too. Show what you're abusing!
Just modded this thing with some DeArmond USA pickups:

into this amp
I run a Big Muff into the amp, and then in the effects loop I run a Boss Chorus and Boss GigaDelay, in that order.
I recently discovered the "Magic Six" setting, and it even got me to change my main pickup from rhythm to lead. I'm abandoning my alt-rock/shoegaze guitar roots!

There's a local guy here who plays the exact same guitar, 'cept it's a different colour. What a tone! |

It's this Heritage H-204DD guitar:
Amp rig:
Fender 30 2X10. Early 80s model; channel switcher, all tube (2 X 6L6, tube rectifier), highly modified by me, w/Celestion V10 speakers.
Roland GR-09 synth, EMU Esi-4000 sampler
Roland GX-700 modeler
Hafler T-2 tube preamp; highly modified, goes in EFX loop of GX-700.
Rocktron Intellifex LTD, Lexicon Vortex, Lexicon MPX-550 rack EFX units
Mackie 1202VLZ for synth, sampler, EFX mixing
QSC PLX2-1804 power amp
QSC PLX2-1802 power amp
2) 15/6.5/1" DIY speaker cabs, biamped w/550 watts/side-->lows, 330/side-->highs
Rane RPM26z DSP speaker controller
Rocktron MIDI Mate MIDI switcher
4 channel patch switcher for Rane controller
At least two expression pedals
I'm sure I've forgotten a few pieces...go figure!

Here's my rigs.
This is a Crate V18. It's a Class A amp, that I modded up with an Eminence Private Jack speaker, and some JJ power tubes, and JJ and Tungsol preamp tubes. The guitar is a G&L S-500 Tribute that I modded up with a Seymour Duncan JB in the birdge, a Duckbucker in the middle, and a Lil 59 in the neck. The neck and bridge are coil tapped for series/parallel and the volume is a push pull that puts the neck position on. Great for getting those Tele tones.
An older Peavey Classic 30. It has Groove Tubes EL84s, and the preamp tubes are two Tungsols, and a Ruby Tube. I'm waiting on an Eminence Cannabis Rex to throw in there to complete the sound. The guitar is a G&L Legacy Tribute. It has Lace Sensor Chrome Domes on it. Killer pickups. The volume is a push pull to turn on the neck pickup, and the other switch is to do some series/parallel/phase switching at each position on the 5-way. There's a total of 21 pickup configs for this guitar.
This is my acoustic rig. An AAD Cub, which is the best acoustic amp my ears have experienced. The guitar is a Seagull Artist Cameo, with a spruce top and flamed maple back and sides. I love this guitar. |

No pics of the amps at the moment, but they are:
Fender Champ 12 (early '90s red-knob)
Blackface Deluxe Reverb
'67 Ampeg SB-12 flip-top
I'm working on picking up a Gadow Nashville '49 (Gadow's answer to the Esquire, even built of Ponderosa Pine like the originals!) and a Valvetrain Amps 427, though I'm VERY curious to find out more about their M45 that they displayed at Summer NAMM.
If I don't buy a house this summer I plan on picking up a few from the Eastwood line, as well. I'm REALLY impressed by what I've seen so far from them - if only more of their basses were 34" scale...

Subtle flame, and it really shows up under stage lights and at the angle that you're looking down at it-
Main guitar amp since spring of 1993 is my 1978 50w MV Marshall-
(that's an 1981 Park head on top- one of the very last ones ever made)
Cab is a 1976 or 77 4x12-
