I've done this for years and never see anyone else do it. I just wear my belt buckle on my left hip, one belt loop over. No buckle rash on ANY of my guitars.

No scratches on that candyredmetalflakeflamejobbaby! I'm talking the guys they romanticize in movies, guys whose wives picked them up with the kids in the car after 8th period, so they could make it to their jobs.....Ah the good old days! Come back Fonz. |

I like how style seems to transcend generations.

Well my buddy see's my friends grand pa come out of the bathroom and he leans over and tells me how sad it is that he's getting so old he cant get his belt on straight. |

I've been a paramedic a loooooooooooooooong time and we got given these belts as uniform items about twelve years ago. After a few days to get used to it, I decided I liked the whole 'no buckle' thing. I still wear one every day, and ESPECIALLY if I'm playing.

Though, I always use the side buckle, even when not playing, offset at least.

Lately, however, I've taken a fancy to suspenders for holding up my gig trousers.
