I just really enjoy doing what I do (and wishing I had as much time as Ken Jung to do it! ), though I very much appreciate the support.
That said, if I don't see a 'Vic Serbe Appreciation Thread' sometime soon, I am going to have to knock some heads!
What the hey, I'll start that one, myself!!! |

While at his place I sampled Glenfriddich 25, Oban 14, and many others. Many times when I'm on the road, and see a great assortment of single malts at good prices, I'll call Tom to find out what the best value is. He has heard of brands I've never even thought of and probably has tested thousands of Single Malts. I'm sure he travels every year to International Single Malt show and I wouldn't be surprised if he has manufacturers prototypes in his Liquor cabinet that the public will never ever see. I believe he knows plenty of the Malt Makers personally, and I have heard rummors that he is starting a web magazine called "Single Malt Gear" or something like that. I think he has a few amps and basses too, but every time I've been to house and sampled several single malts the rest of the visit was just a blur.

When I started the KJung thread I meant no disrespect to Tom. Tom did, in fact, also answer some PMs I sent him when trying to figure out where to go with an amplification change so I consider him also to be a valuable guy on this forum.
I didn't know I'd be starting something when I put up the KJung thread. I'm glad to see some of the guys on this forum getting the respect they deserve.
OK, where's MY thread?
