um...mr. moderator, did u delete my thread? either u thought it was offensive (maybe a little) or off-topic (dont really see how). so i'll ask again.
what is the 'top 40?' every so often someone on TB says "me and my top 40 band do this..." or "when i was in a top 40 band..."
but no one really specifies what the top 40 is the top of. doesnt each genre have its own top charts? is the title top 40 an offical thing? like when u have one song on the top 40 list are u now a 'top 40 band?' are top 40 bands more of a studio or project thing, or are u fully functional bands? its just a little odd, because no one ever mentions the name of their top 40 band, or even hints at what it does. why the secrecy?
