Torn for my birthday.

I'm torn between a few gifts...
I own a Squier Standard Jazz bass and a pretty bad Hohner classical guitar. I've been playing guitar for almost 2 years and bass for about 4 months, after I realized that bass is my passion.
I could get a new electric acoustic, a 12 string acoustic, a loop pedal for my bass, an acoustic bass or another electric bass, depending on if I will succeed in selling my current bass. (Would sell it only for buying a new one, otherwise I'm more than satisfied with it.)
So... I always wanted an acoustic bass. But on the other hand, my classical is a piece of ****, really, and I love playing guitar sometimes, too, although bass is my primary instrument now and that's the instrument I want to invest time actually devoting into practice. A 12 string might be a good option because I'm mostly a rhythm guy, so I wouldn't do a lot of single note runs, and if I did, it wouldn't be too serious. So for a secondary, out-of-joy instrument, it might be a good decision.
BUT I have so many ideas with my bass, and would love to make them come alive with a loop pedal. It would make me develop creatively and learn more about improvising. But a loop pedal isn't that useful in a band setting and that's where I ultimately want to be in a year or two. It would, however, be a ton of fun solo...
And the last option, simply getting a better bass that would prolong my mediocre-bass playing age. With my current bass I have like 2 years max until I'll need to switch to a HQ bass, but if I, say, sell it and buy a VM Squier, it would prolong that time to 4 years.
None of these items are actually really necessary. That's the biggest problem. I really kind of want them all, but on the other hand, I lived without them and I can continue to do so.
Any thoughts?

If your gift can come from a place that has a generous return policy, pick an order of things to tryout and proceed from there. Perhaps the looper first and if it doesn't float your boat after a week or two, try the guitar route.

If your Squier is a good bass, is there really a need to change it? Squier can make a great instrument...I find mine are on par with my MIM P Bass and overall better playing instruments than the '74 Fender P-Bass that I got as a teenager in 1974. I've seen Squier basses being played on TV so there is no need to assume that it has to be replaced any time soon, if at all...

Good luck (and Happy Birthday)!!!

Thank you.
I know, everyone on TB keeps saying that about Squiers. But we're bassist, the general population and even a lot of bassists are elitists when it comes to music and instruments in general, so when they don't see "Fender" on the headstock, they automatically disregard you as a musician. Which quite frankly, sucks. That's very ignorant. They don't even know that like every 4th Fender is a flop and plays as bad as a flop Squier. :/
