Zakk Wylde uses a hardware store chain attached by two eye hooks in his bass. Doesn't look comfortable.

All my straps are store bought.

Hnadmade; not by me, but by the best leather artist in the World...

Enjoy yourself looking at her site; nothing "punked" or outlandish, but some SERIOUS works of strap-art.

I saw the coolest DIY strap on the bay once. It was made from a used conveyor belt. It looked so cool!!

They were changing the conveyor belts at the plant where my BF works and he brought me home a 40 foot roll of it. Its not rubber but that thick cotton and its nice and frayed on the edges, looks very cool. This belt is like 8 inches wide or something. Talk about the perfect strap for a T40.

I found a place on line that sells the other bits that go into making straps and I plan on making some. Whenever I get the time that is!!!

As I am involved in military living history, my strap is a American Civil War era black leather carbine sling complete with 1860's original brass buckle and brass tip.
