Tribute Bands on David Letterman this week

there has been a Prince, Johnny Cash and GnR bands so far this week.....has anybody seen them?

Yes I have and you're not missing anything, all really bad IMHO. I can't believe they got that gig, they almost sound like I would imagine the original bands live though.
I am looking forward to the James Brown band tonight.

I guess it would be some kind of conflict of interest to put The Fab Faux in that line up...too bad. ZERO suckage there.

I actually know one of the guys in Mr. Brownstone, the GnR tribute that was on Wednesday. He went to high school with my girlfriend.
I guess they aren't having one of those Mini Kiss bands on there?

Not to impressed with the "godfather of soul" the singer was good but the band was weak.....I was expecting some Bootsy style Bass ..the best band that pulled it off as a whole was the Prince tribute band I felt.
