Tucson Area TB members...Need a recommendation

Sign in to disble this ad
I was wondering if anyone knew of, and would recommend, a good bass guitar instructor in the Tucson, AZ area?

I have been wanting to improve my skills and its time for an instructor. I'm wanting someone who is an actual bassist. Not a guitar/bass/whatever do-it-all type instructor unless bass is his/her passion. Someone who can get through my thick skull to help me understand theory and such.

Any help would be appreciated!

Have you been to Rainbow Guitars? I'm sure someone there could hook you up.

I was in Tuscon this past September and that shop impressed me.

srxplayer,
Yea, Rainbow is the only store I deal with in Tucson. Really great guys there. They may not have the biggest selection I have seen but it is the best in Tucson. Its also kinda nice they actually have a dedicated bass room. Its also where I bought my Trace head. I guess I should check who they know of.

deaf pea,
I didn't know Ed lived in Tucson, sweet! I'll have to get in touch with him. BTW, Ed is the type of teacher I have been looking for!
