Tuner buying

Sign in to disble this ad
Looking for a new tuner, just the Korg kind. anyone know any that can tune in drop tuning as well as standard?

nothing fancy or expensive.

Buy Planet Waves PW-CT-09 Universal II Chromatic Tuner | Tuners | Musician's Friend

That tuner looks good, not sure if i want to spend time messing with pitch numbers or w.e. my last one just use flats so it was simple and fast.

Its not expensive.

Its got a metronome in it with variable time signatures etc, It can tune guitar or bass in any funny tuning you want. Its served me every day since 2004.

EDIT: Its actually TU-80

I even linked it for you, now get buying!

The pitch calibration thing only matters if you're tuning your instrument to an entirely different frequency, which almost no bassists do/need to do. Standard vs. drop tuning does not matter so long as the lowest pitch you tune to can be registered on the tuner. Those cheapy tuners sometimes have trouble picking up a low B accurately.

Sorry to keep going on about my suggestion, but when i tune down to low C, it is dead stable.
