Since this is my first bass (and also a fretless) I need a better tuner so I can work on my intonation. Do I really need to spend $100 on a Boss TU-2 or $190 on a Peterson? I just want something that will register the note quickly and accurately and work while I'm using my amp. If it matters my head has a tuner output and a tuner mute switch, so a pedal tuner isn't strictly necessary. |
I've just gotten a Korg CA30. By far the best tuner for the money That I've ran across. Even works great on my URB.n
Chromatic, displays notes, audible reference tones that covers the full chromatic scale, easy calibration and displays notes instantly and accurately.
The only negative that I've found is that the display has no back lighting. A small price to pay for a great little tuner.
I recommend it highly. At $19.95, I don't think you can beat it.
