Tuner and wireless acting funky? And no, not good funky...

Weird...

I've been using a Sansamp BDDI between my bass and amp for a while now. I got a wireless and of course, put it between my bass and Sansamp. Was also just fine. Don't have the Sansamp anymore and fired up my rig last night. The tuner won't register! The tuner is receiving signal from amp's tuner output. Just to make sure, I plugged in directly from bass to amp with a cord and it works normally. WHAT THE?!

I resolved it by turning the volume gain WAY up on the wireless. The wireless peak light stays on steady whenever I play anything, so I thought that wasn't good. So I turned it back down and instead plugged the output of the wireless into the PASSIVE input rather than the regular ACTIVE input I put my Sterling into. Of course, the whole thing got WAY louder, so I turned the master volumes and output volume down, but at least the tuner works again.

EH?! What gives? Help would be appreciated. Thanks!
