on Thursday i went and saw Woven Hand play at a local bar. this is sort of a side-project band for David E. Edwards of 16 Horsepower. atleast, i hope it is only a side project. this man is possessed. he has an absolutely amazing voice and his guitar tone was to die for. he also played an instrument that seemed half bazouki and half banjo. i dont know what it was called but it sounded fantastic as well. He did a couple of 16 Horsepower songs all by himself.
Then on Friday night (last night) after 16 years i finally got to see the band that made me pick up bass in the first place: Def Leppard. They put on one fantastic show, unfortunately we got very held up in traffic and i caught only the last 5 songs. the crowd was fantastic too.
