Ultimate Bass Lines

I've had a quick search and though some threads are similar I can't find one that covers exactly what I want so here goes and apologies if this appears to be going over old ground.

I want to compile a list of ultimate bass lines with the intention of putting them all together at the end in a list of excellent bass lines to play. The criteria are fairly simple. They are bass lines/hooks etc that are fun and interesting to play and don't have to be flashy or complicated. For example AC/DC are my favourite band but most of their bass line are pretty simple and repetative (excluding the example below). I've started off with a few examples.

Ben E King - Stand by Me
AC/DC - Squeeler
Asian Dub Foundation - Crash
Deee-Lite - Groove is in the Heart
Black Eyed Peas - Lets get retarded (started (whatever!))
